Bifolding Panels

Two panels fold the same direction and stack on top of each other when folded back against the wall.

Divider Rail

A horizontal bar that can be placed anywhere within the panel to allow the upper louvers to operate separately from the lower louvers

Fold Direction

The direction a panel opens (to the left or to the right)

Hidden Tilt Rod

Allows the louvers to operate without a visible tilt rod

Hinges

Come in your choice of bright brass, antique brass, shiny nickel, brushed nickel or painted to match your shutter

Jamestown or Colonial Frame

A decorative upgrade to our standard Z-Frame

L-Frame

One of our standard frames. An inside mount commonly used for window openings with pre-existing trim around the window

Louver

Horizontal slats that open and close to control the amount of light coming in

Panel

The part of the shutter containing the louvers, stiles and rails

Rails

Horizontal bars above and below the louvers

Stiles

Vertical bars on the sides of the panel

Tilt Rod

A vertical bar used to open or close the louvers

Z-Frame

One of our standard frames. Used for inside mount
